Description

Out of curiosity, I went searching via the plugins Trac to see when I first created one of my plugins. It turns out it was over 10 years ago (yeesh!) but in the process I noticed that we're missing a little over 8400 commits from Trac. You can see that here:

https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/log/vipers-video-quicktags?rev=17521

Or if you go to https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/13077 and then click on "Previous Changeset". That link takes you to https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/4644. All of the commits between those two appear to be missing.

The commits exist in Subversion, so this is a Trac issue, perhaps as simple as a caching one.

I've filed a request to get these imported (if possible).

Removing myself as owner, as realistically this is pending systems rather than anything else.

@dd32 Would you mind following up with them?

I suspect not much has changed since this reply: https://make.wordpress.org/systems/2016/03/23/1641-meta-has-pointed-out-that-plugins-trac/#comment-1028

"Just FYI – probably not going to fix this for a while. Will probably get fixed as part of the SVN upgrade to 1.9"

I'd love to see SVN 1.9 and updating Trac the highest meta priority if we're needing the systems team to work on anything for the meta team

We've since been upgraded to SVN 1.9 - check the footer of http://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/test/

I've followed up with systems, but I don't see this as high priority, or even low priority, and I'd happily mark this as wontfix based on the age, and poor usability of plugins.trac

  • Resolution set to fixed
  • Status changed from reviewing to closed

This has been fixed. I assume as part of the plugins.trac migration to new servers.
