Description (last modified by )
Per discussion at the latest Support Team meeting, the Unapprove action should be removed.
If a post violates the forum rules, it can either be archived or marked as spam (if it's an actual spam), but it should not be moved back to moderation queue, as that just creates more work for other moderators.

The word “Unapprove” has never felt appropriate to me, but I also couldn’t think of a better 1-word verb’esque word for “hide this until someon manually reviews it.”
bbPress doesn’t have an “archive” status, but it’s not uncommon in forum software. Usually it’s tied to search prioritization, or used to optimize forums for their newest content in other ways.
So there’s two issues for bbPress proper to consider, one that we could try to release as core optional plugins:
- What’s a better word than “Unapprove”?
- What should “Archive Content” actually do?

There's some suggestions in the replies of theis Feb 2017 tweet: https://twitter.com/JJJ/status/826581898726096896
Linguists, halp.
What is a 1 word verb that means "Unapprove" without meaning "Disapprove"?
The act of unapproving a thing.

It was added in #1963 as a way to hide posts from public view while keeping them for future reference (e.g. to check the history of a particular user). "Trash" was not suitable for that, as trashed posts are auto-deleted after 30 days.
