It should redirect to https://wordpress.org/plugins/

plugins.wordpress.org is not a site that exists. Any subdomain of wordpress.org that doesn't exist will redirect to wordpress.org.
plugins.wordpress.org USE TO BE where the plugin repository was located. A lot of old bookmarks on pages still refer to it. But it does not redirect to the new plugins repository location.
It would make things easier if it redirected properly.

FWIW, I don't see any evidence of that neither in Google nor in http://web.archive.org.
The old URL was http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/, which does redirect to https://wordpress.org/plugins/.
plugins.wordpress.org is not a site that exists. Any subdomain of wordpress.org that doesn't exist will redirect to wordpress.org.
