I wonder if this would be the right place to ask our Glossary gets listed in the list of glosaries?

Request to edit content in Polyglots Handbook is better made in Slack channel "polyglots" or in https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots
I have added an entry for es_MX in the list. Once you have a style guide and/or a start guide, I'll be more than happy to add links to them, too. (after all, the glossary is easy to find, especially since matches are highlighted directly in the translation interface...)

With regards to your main request about es-mx helphub: Why do you want to have a separate instance for es_MX, rather than joining forces with the es_ES team, that already has started translate the Helphub content to Spanish? I'd suggest you talk to @nilovelez or @nobnob

I think it's not a bad idea that es_MX has its own HH. In the same line as es_VE.

The es_ES, es_VE, es_MX, etc. translations can be shared and adapted to the different variants of Spanish. This could speed up the translation process by distributing the work among the different teams and all of them would benefit from documentation adapted to their own language variation.

@abramoca
es-mx Rosetta site currently don't use support forums (for a good reason). Currently, HelpHub setup requires forums to be enabled on the Rosetta site. Would it be ok to enable it but not use it? Like how es_VE team is doing: https://ve.wordpress.org/support/forums/

If this is ok, I can enable HelpHub plugin for your site.

Hi @Nao, thanks for your answer. Can I use the helphub if I am GTE? (set it up and stuff)

  • Type changed from defect to task

@abramoca
I've turned on HelpHub plugin on it.wordpress.org/support and assigned HelpHub Manager role to you and locale managers @tokyobiyori and @marcozink.

Content import is not done yet, but you can start looking around while waiting for that to happen.

For the next steps, please read this handbook page and feel free to ask questions in #polyglots.
I also recommend coordinating with other Spanish translation teams.

(I'll close this ticket when contents import is done)

Cheers!

@dion could you help with an initial HelpHub content import on this site?
https://es-mx.wordpress.org/support/forums/

Please bring all contents from https://wordpress.org/support/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=helphub_article published articles and set them to "Pending Review" status.
