Description
Hello everybody!
If I register a new account using a Yahoo.com.ar email, there a messaage appears indicating the email provider is not supported: You cannot use that email address to signup. We are having problems with them blocking some of our email. Please use another email provider.
On the other hand, inside another profile, I change my email for one from Yahoo.com.ar and no error message appears, only that a confirmation was sent to my new email.
The problem is that email never arrives, and my profile password is automatically changed without having made any change to it. An email is sent with password change advice (not knowing what the new password is), so I have to reset it through the forget password form.
Hope this can be solved.
Regards,
Gustavo

Just changing the email with a Yahoo.com.ar provider email and clicking Update Profile button, happens as I detailed before. I tested it two times.
Replying to dd32:

As far as I can tell, that doesn't happen (I just tested it), assuming you're updating it through https://wordpress.org/support/users/gustavotroisi/edit/?
Clicking the Generate Password button would change the password though.

- Resolution set to wontfix
- Status changed from new to closed
This is not a defect. Yahoo blocks our emails, we have been unable to make them stop, so all Yahoo domains are blocked from creating new accounts.
Don't use Yahoo email with our systems, it won't work, and we can't get them to fix it. Tried for years.
