Files not showing up but captions do error messages occur

Hi Team,
I have had an odd quirk occur this morning - three of my own photos in the submit queue flashed up with a ajax error message and the file name on each didn't load - not sure what might have caused this. The caption shows up as normal.

Hi Paul, yes I will try but I don't see where to attach them! Sadie

Paul it seems the Cat photo was too big! I hadn't realised. The other two are attached. Thanks Sadie

So it seems like the process is failing due to the rotation of the image being attempted from the stored EXIF orientation metadata.

Memory exhaustion when needing to rotate an image is indeed the leading cause of a timeout during the photo submission process. It's something I have on the docket to investigate closer and try to improve or mitigate.
