Remove "Edit Forum Profile" from wp.org profile header.

When viewing your profile at ​https://profiles.wordpress/me, we have display two links in the user header section.

  • View/Edit Profile
  • Edit Forum Profile

Can we remove the "Edit Forum Profile" link?

To most users, it isn't clear what the difference is, and for the most part, the Forum Profile contains duplicate fields regarding user data.

I wonder if we should move it into the subnav as well. That's how other sites do it.

It remains helpful for some users, such as those who can edit user profiles of others (ie. to block them - as our blocking is linked to support forum role).

For regular users, it can be removed.

I wonder if we should move it into the subnav as well. That's how other sites do it.
