"Follow" functionality on Make blogs

Description

The Make blogs don't have the option to follow a post without commenting. This means it's dead easy to miss comments on your own posts.

On the make/core blog for example, the comment notification emails are switched off. Switching it on affects all post authors.

Can we get the "follow" functionality added which is available on the rest of wordpress.com?

What "Follow" functionality are you referring to?

The make sites do not run on WordPress.com and so any .com specific functionality there is not available to us.

Also, there is a "Follow" link in the top right of every post on the make blogs. Does that not work?

Interesting. Why do I get my WordPress.com notifications in the admin toolbar on WordPress.org?

Somehow I've managed to miss this link all this time. Consider my request invalid!
