Description

Good Day,

Please refer to this topic (issue).

I experienced the same issue with another plugin until today. The solution provided by Samuel Wood (Otto) (@otto42) in this post helped me solve it.

In short, this is to request that a special note be added to all plugins' Development section as noted here.

Adding the special note will save countless hours of frustration trying to find out how to unsubscribe from a plugin developer's code changes and updates.

Thank you!

Recommendation:

Best solution is to simply get rid of (delete) the email link. It creates more downstream issues than benefits.

Cheers!

Rather than get rid of it, I think making it something like a check box or something else would be preferable. Good UX suggestions are accepted here.
