#7926 closed feature request (invalid)

Request for Responsive Tools in WordPress Block Editor for Device-Specific Updates Without Cross-Dimension Impact

Description

The WordPress block editor currently lacks responsive tools. When updates are made on mobile, they are also applied to the desktop version. We are requesting a new feature similar to Elementor's responsive tools. Currently, there is only a mobile view, but it is not functional. We want changes made on mobile to be kept on the mobile version without affecting other dimensions.

Hi there, and welcome to the Meta Trac!

Meta trac is for enhancements to WordPress.org and the sites and services connected to it, and not for the core WordPress software it self.

For that, you will want to either use https://core.trac.wordpress.org, or the likely better location of the Gutenberg repository on GitHub.

This is a topic that has come up a few times, so make sure you search for relevant tickets before creating a new one (a larger one with many related tickets referencing it seems to be https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/19909 for example).

Since this is not a meta issue ,I'm going to close this ticket with the invalid reason, but thanks for your interest, and I hope you get involved with some of the tickets if this is something you are passionate about.
