Why Future Milestone dissapeared at some point?

I've noticed something strange in many reports in Core Trac
Example:

As can be seen, they had Future Release, but now they don't have a Milestone.
And many more, don't simply have a Milestone, which probably they had the "Awaiting Review" simply wiped at some point.
What might have happened?

We can't really offer support for Trac, it's developed by another company, and we don't really understand the how/why some things happen.
Realistically this was probably due to a data migration, bulk ticket modification, or milestone deletion.
The core team has done lots of trac things like that over the years.
