Description
Looks like some links on WordPress Foundation's Projects page could use an update:
- http://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/ (which is just a very long list of plugin slugs)
- Should SVN links be replaced with Trac ones? It wouldn't make them less clear, but more user-friendly.
- Should bbPress Trac link be included, for consistency with BuddyPress?
/extend
can now be dropped from URLs.

Replying to iandunn:
A few more things:
- They should be using HTTPS
- Instead of linking to SVN or Trac, I think "WordPress" should just link to WordPress.org, and plugins should link to
/extend/plugins
. That's much more informative for the vast majority of visitors. If linking to the code was an attempt to encourage people to get involved, I think it'd be better to point them to make.wordpress.org instead.- WordCamps and meetups should probably be listed too, since the Foundation handles the money for most camps, and pays Meetup.com dues for all the officially recognized meetups.
+1 to all the above.

If some updated stats were warranted.... (Lots of stats to choose from if that way inclined)
- https://www.openhub.net/p/wordpress ... 346,509 lines of code an estimated 91 years of effort
- https://www.openhub.net/p/bbpress ... 40,708 lines of code an estimated 10 years of effort
- https://www.openhub.net/p/buddypress ... 73,824 lines of code an estimated 18 years of effort

- Resolution set to fixed
- Status changed from new to closed
Since this ticket was filed, it looks like this has all been fixed: all links point to trac (not SVN); lines of code are updated (and removed for bbPress and BuddyPress); and WordCamps and meet-ups are added.
If you see new issues, please file new tickets.
Note: See
TracTickets for help on using
tickets.
