Blog single page of Rosetta site

Direct link to an affected post: https://ja.wordpress.org/2015/11/12/wordpress-4-4-beta-4/

Most Rosetta sites don't suffer this as they use a Page for posts (Which is preferred IIRC, the default, and I think what we were going to standardise on), for example: https://de.wordpress.org/2015/11/12/wordpress-4-4-beta-4/ unlike Japanese which uses the front-page blog setup instead

Due to the complexity of the header menu having to be used in many different contexts, I don't think we're going to be able to fix this particular issue easily.

Thanks for reporting the layout issue, @nukaga.

I've discussed this with other ja.wordpress.org editors and we agreed that the way DE site is set up is fine for us as well.

@dd32 how do we go about setting /blog/ to be the front page (I have published the static page)? None of the JA site editors seems to have the permission to do this.

This is still an issue for other sites listed in comment:2.

https://ru.wordpress.org/2015/07/wordcamp-russia-2015/ has the same issue as well.

I've just created and published a /news/ page, but I don't have permissions to change the front page settings.

ru.wordpress.org has been fixed.

The others in comment:2 (along with another hundred or so others) will be fixed automatically with the coming header changes in #1201.

Replying to dd32:

ru.wordpress.org has been fixed.

Thanks! Seeing the latest posts on the front page was quite handy though, created #1412 for that.
