Feature Request - GlotPress Glossary Highlighting - Please make case insensitive

Description

Hello,

With Glotpress Glossary the words within the glossary are underlined on the original string making it easier to see what should be translated. That's especially helpful with the flavoured english translations (canadian, australian, etc). But currently they're all case sensitive so if you have color>colour in the glossary but it's a single word string for Color then it won't be underlined.

Would be nice if glossary terms are case-insensitive. Please let me know if this won't be picked up anytime soon as I'll manually add capitalized versions to the Glossary.

Thank you

Hi @netweb

The permalink you shared for instance doesn't auto-underline as it's a capitalized version;

The same goes for this one from 4.1.x as it's capitalized;
https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp/4.1.x/en-ca/default?filters%5Bstatus%5D=either&filters%5Boriginal_id%5D=212360&filters%5Btranslation_id%5D=9958185

Here's another from 4.1.x that's lowercase as so it's picked up and underlined properly;
https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp/4.1.x/en-ca/default?filters%5Bstatus%5D=either&filters%5Boriginal_id%5D=211345&filters%5Btranslation_id%5D=9958013

I'm not sure why you're seeing the underline on the one you shared and I'm not?? Do you possibly have a browser extension or something in place??

Cheers

Ha, indeed you are correct, without my browser extension I do see that the string isn't picked up.

I forget I'm using the extension ;) The extension is https://github.com/Mte90/GlotDict, it's awesome, and it will work around this issue :)

Thanks @netweb I'll leave this ticket open and start using GlotDict, seems like a pretty awesome extension I'm surprised I haven't come across it earlier.
