Description

Here's the scenario (it's caught me out a few times). I'm writing a ticket or a response to a ticket, but I don't know wikiformatting so I can't format it properly. But there's a helpful link just above the Description field so I have quick access to the WikiFormatting info. Yay!

I've written a considerable amount of the text and then I click the link for some help. It opens in the same window. This is problematic for two reasons, one minor, one major:

  1. I want to have the wikiformatting available as I write so I can refer to it. It makes sense to have it in a different window or popup.
  1. My expectation is that it will open in a new window or popup so I just click on it. But it opens in this window. This is not such a problem in Chrome or Safari because the browser retains my text. I just click back and it's there. It's annoying but it's not the end of the world. But when I use Firefox and click the back button in the browser everything is gone. So my lovingly crafted text has disappeared and I have to start anew :( When you spend 30 minutes writing a response this can be extremely frustrating.

And even when you know that it's going to open in this window, the positioning of the link makes it very easy to unthinkingly click on it.
