Core WordPress.org logged in Meta Site Admin link causing redirect loop

When logged into ​http://make.wordpress.org/core/ the Meta sidebar shows with a Site Admin link. When the Site Admin link is clicked Chrome returns a redirect loop error message.

This is my first ticket, so I apologize if this does not follow typical formatting standards.

It looks like none of the other sections of make.wordpress.org have the Meta widget in their sidebars. So I'm guessing each section of the make sub-domain is a multisite and someone just forgot to take the Meta widget out for the core site, maybe?

Confirmed. Visiting ​https://make.wordpress.org/core/wp-admin/ redirects to ​https://make.wordpress.org/core/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=handbook.

Probably caused by https://meta.trac.wordpress.org/browser/sites/trunk/wordpress.org/public_html/wp-content/plugins/handbook/handbook.php?rev=474#L79

The meta widget should not have been there in the first place, really, so I removed it.

I'll investigate the redirect issue separately.
