Paypal error: You are over a timelimit to perform a refund on this transaction

We are facing this issue when attendees trying to request a refund for WordCamp Asia 2020.

Can you please check if this is something within your capacity to fix?

Paypal has a built-in 180 day refund limit, I'm not sure if that's something the WordCamp team can work around (It's a hard-coded Paypal API limitation AFAIK, Paypal might be able to change it on a per-account basis, I don't know).

I've passed this ticket onto the WordCamp team with the hope that they'll be able to work through it with the team though.. But given the nature of the issue, this is something better off worked out directly with your WordCamp Central contacts than Meta tickets.

@SamSuresh for people who purchased their ticket more than 180 days ago, they'll need to email support@… and include the email address they used to purchase their ticket. Someone can then verify the original transaction and manually send them a refund.
