Broken markup in Trac source code browser

Description (last modified by SergeyBiryukov)

Something looks quite off in the Trac source browser:

  1. Go to https://core.trac.wordpress.org/browser/tags/5.9/src/wp-admin/install.php.
  2. Scroll down for a bit to line 112.
  3. You'll see parts of the source markup rendered on the page in a way they are not supposed to be.

Reproduced in the latest Edge and Chrome.

In 11565:

Trac: Revert [11548] to see if it's caused #6112.

See #6112, #4950.

Yeah, that was it.

I ran into similar broken markup just before I saw this ticket.

Marking this as fixed, will follow up in #4950 with a fix later.
