Description
WordCamp Europe's website is running a customized (CSS-wise) Twenty-Twelve theme, and we are using oembeds to embed videos from WordPress.tv.
However, changing the $content_width
through Appearance -> Edit CSS -> Content Width doesn't seem to fix the width for oembeds.
We had a gallery issue and it was fixed when the content width was increased from Edit CSS. oembed videos are still rendering with a limited width (the width HTML attribute).
I've cloned the theme setup locally and activated Jetpack and it seems to work here. Can't make it work on WordCamp.org.
An example is Nacin's video which didn't work with oembed or the shortcode.

Wasn't able to reproduce it locally with the latest Jetpack from .org and the same theme from WCEU - we could test again when WordCamp.org is updated, unless it pulls everything from trunk. There's a link to a post that reproduces the issue so it will be obvious if it has been fixed :)

Did you resave the posts with the embedded links in it?
The oembed process happens when the post is saved. If you don't resave, then it doesn't happen again, and so the retrieved data won't change.

I did, and just did again on the link above. Plus, it wasn't needed locally - just refreshed the page and the embed width/height were normal.
May be a Jetpack issue, uncertain?
