WordPress.tv subtitle upload not working.

Description

On wordpress.tv site, subtitle upload page, due to some reason on submitting uploaded file, unknown error occurs and also there is some jquery error showing on the console screen.

Hi @harshgajipara,

Error 5 (as shown) generally means that the uploaded file is being rejected for some reason, likely due to security or other similar issues.

Can you attach the subtitle file you're trying to submit to this ticket?

Also, in general, it would be appreciated if screenshots could be uploaded to the ticket directly, as links expire over time and make it harder to understand the issues later on.

Hi @dd32,

The jQuery error shows without even uploading a subtitle file. Also it shows on every video's subtitle upload page.

But fortunately, the subtitle file got uploaded as I tried editing it with Notepad. I got to know that ttml file doesn't work properly with other text editors. :)

So, better if the console error gets sorted as it is visible on every page of wordpress.tv site.
