Description
In the past I've witnessed that even people who frequently work within the WordPress Eco System sometimes are surprised off releases, and just last week, two workmates asked me where they could learn more about releases, and when they are to be expected.
So I asked myself, wouldn't it be awesome to have a calendar for example an .ical that everyone can subscribe, who wants to know when releases are scheduled.
The information are of course already available within the core blog, but a simple subscribable would be very helpful, especially for less technical people, like product owners/manager, and this give better awareness of scheduled releases.
From my experience this would help hosters, solo developers and agencies to have a better overview on upcoming releases.
I talked about this idea with Robert and Simon, and Robert suggested, that I should create a ticket here.

I don't think that it would need a specific time, or it could be a timeframe for 2h where the release parties would happen under normal circumstances. Since the release parties happen in late UTC hours, for me as a european, it would just be important to know that I can expect the release to be available early in the morning.
And as for your question regarding "developer.wordpress.org-specific", trac required me to choose something and suggested me to choose Developer Hub in doubt, since I had no better idea, it sounded the least wrong.

- If we do this, it should include both major and minor releases for when minor releases are announced in advance.
- I like the idea of re-using make/meetings for this rather than re-inventing the wheel.
- What about adding the ability to have a meeting take place all day?
If we do this, I think the documentation pages that would need to be updated so that new events are added for each release are https://make.wordpress.org/core/handbook/about/release-cycle/releasing-major-versions/ and https://make.wordpress.org/core/handbook/about/release-cycle/releasing-minor-versions/

Exactly what I had min mind, for 6.6.2 there is a scheduled relase for example. And this is something my coworker actually looks forward to, since this fixes an issue within the block editor we also witnessed.

Sounds perfect to me.
This could be created re-using https://make.wordpress.org/meetings/ rather easily, as-is, with a
Core Releases
team and the major milestone events from https://make.wordpress.org/core/6-7/Not having a specific time known in advance may cause confusion though; as it's not always known the exact hour that a release will be made in advance.
I'm not sure this is developer.wordpress.org-specific, and probably needs input from the #core team directly (I'll post this ticket to #core on slack for any input)
