missing trailing slash on home url - redirections

On all P2 theme sites i have had a look, the trailing slash is missing. On subsites we have redirects to the corresponding home url.

we can add it here but on the old theme it is escaped (why?):

new theme:

Hi Johannes, I can see this is a change from the previous theme, but I don't quite understand what the bug is. Could you add steps to reproduce please?

While the PR kinda fixes it for the urls, it doesn't actually fix the links from wp:site-title which are not slashed.. This probably needs a fix upstream too.
