Description

I didn't see a way to subscribe via email to jobs on jobs.wordpress.net . There are RSS feeds available, but other resources provide an option for email subscription, so do make blogs and WordPress.com blogs and Jetpack-driven blogs.

I don't have access to that site.

@coffee2code Could this be as simple as activating Jetpack on that site and integrating that?

Replying to nofearinc:

Currently, jobs.wordpress.net does not offer a direct email subscription service for job alerts. However, WordPress sites can integrate a feature-rich add-on called "Job Alerts for WP Job Openings." This add-on allows for automated daily email alerts to subscribers when new job postings are added to a website. It includes customization options, such as placing subscription forms in various areas of the site and letting subscribers select their preferred job specifications. Key features of this add-on include:

  1. Automated daily email notifications for new job openings.
  2. A subscription form with a dedicated button and customizable placement options.
  3. Options for subscribers to choose job specifications for personalized notifications.
  4. Flexible placement of subscription forms as popups, in sidebars, footers, or within pages.
  5. Admin control to enable or disable job specification selection.
  6. Subscriber management with detailed job specification records and email logs.
  7. Customizable email template to match your brand.

Consider a WordPress job site that integrates this add-on for a standard example. Once set up, job seekers visiting the site can subscribe to job alerts by filling out a form. They can specify their job preferences, like location or job type. When new jobs matching their preferences are posted, they receive personalized email notifications, keeping them updated and engaged with the latest opportunities. This streamlined process enhances the user experience and benefits job seekers and employers.
