Plugin support threads aren't tagged with plugin's name anymore

In the past, when you go to new support thread form from plugin's page, thread you create would be tagged with plugin's name.

When plugins support threads got their own views, new threads weren't tagged anymore unless thread starter doesn't tag it manually, and you could browse plugin's support threads only by opening view.

So if someone subscribed to RSS of the tag they won't receive new threads anymore.

That is correct, tags were removed from this usage because they got confusing. Instead, plugins have their own "forum" area on the plugin page, under Support.

At the bottom of that page, there is a place where you can get an RSS link to those threads only.
