Description (last modified by SergeyBiryukov)

[5218] reintroduced the list of locales a plugin has been translated to, see #1793.

The section should list the user's preferred languages first (based on Accept-Language header), as was the case in the old directory.

On a related note, perhaps we don't need to display the full list of translations here. Just the first five with user's preferred locales on top, as in the old directory, seems enough.

Maybe that would even allow us to display the Contributors section in full, without a "Read more" link :)

I don't actually think we should do this. We show the first three in the green banner, where it's most relevant. Showing an alphabetical list makes sense below that.

Maybe that would even allow us to display the Contributors section in full, without a "Read more" link :)

Unlikely. :) Take a look at some of the larger plugins, like Jetpack. ;)

  • Milestone Plugin Directory v3 - Future deleted
  • Resolution set to wontfix
  • Status changed from new to closed

Fair enough, sounds like a wontfix then :)

Replying to samuelsidler:

That seems to be an edge case though, not a lot of plugins have that many contributors.

We could probably show the link if the section doesn't fit in the current viewport and display it in full otherwise, but that's a disccusion for another ticket, maybe #2633 :)
