Show percentages in legend on Stats page

Hello,

I love this page - ​https://wordpress.org/about/stats/
But find it difficult to determine the tiny slices. Would be nice if the legend provided the percentage in braces beside each item. Saves having to hover over slices and try to find your tiny sliver.

Does it really matter? :) I think the sliver does a good job conveying that these versions have very little adoption. If it's 0.1% or 0.2%—how important is it to know the difference?

If it is important, I think it is reasonable to hover over them.

Not a huge issue no, I just found it near impossible to trigger hover on the smaller slices as their area was negligible. And in many cases there were multiple similar colours which made it hard to figure out where to hover to get the extra information. So had opened the ticket to remove the annoyance all together as I would just use the legend if it had the percent within it and not bother with the graph at all. As well on mobile those slivers are even more difficult to click.

With that being said I support either choice you make.

I agree that there is value in seeing the percentages and hovering over them isn't an easy task.
Additionally, you aren't the only one with that feedback.

I looked into the library to see if we could trigger the tooltip and slice selection on legend hover, but that doesn't appear possible through their official API. Adding the percentages to the legend introduced some redundancy in the tooltip that wasn't great.

I'm wondering if we should move more towards showing the data table as proposed here: https://meta.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/4891.
