Description
In preparation for launch (and removal of the "You're a bit early" banner), we may want to consider including a link to submit photos from the top of the home page area.
Currently, there is a link buried at the bottom of the home page and then one in the subpage blue bar navigation.

Fixed in [12383] (apologies for omitting props in the commit, which should have been included as below):
Photo Directory: Add a link above-the-fold on the front page to submit a photo.
This makes it immediately clear that contributing photos is something that can be done (which, for most people, they can reasonably do) and saves having to scroll past the front page photo grid to get to the submit link.
This is only necessary on the front page since a submit link appears in the nav menu shown on every other page.
Props mdburnette, coffee2code.

Added via https://make.wordpress.org/meta/wp-admin/admin.php?page=props-edit-meta which results in it showing up in profiles and any future prop reports.
I can get behind this request.
The front page is largely modeled after the Plugin and Theme Directories (more notable the former). But unlike those directories, just about anyone can readily contribute photos so making it clear they can do so more prominently seems reasonable and appropriate.
That said, how and where? The Theme Directory does include an above-the-fold link to "Commercial Themes" but it's in a rather unsightly nav bar.
The easiest and cleanest might be to change the page subheading from:
to something like:
(I'm certainly open to better phrasing.)
Anything more and we'll probably want more design input. We don't want too much prominence on the "contribute your photos" link as it's a secondary action to viewing/finding photos.
