Plugins: Please split long rejection letters into one paragraph per string

Description

The translation project contains several text for rejection letters.
Most of these strings are large, and a few are huge.
https://meta.trac.wordpress.org/browser/sites/trunk/wordpress.org/public_html/wp-content/plugins/plugin-directory/email/class-plugin-rejected.php?marks=190#L190 contains a rejection letter that is more than 600 words long.

Please break up these rejection texts to roughly one paragraph per string.

  • The translator gets a better overview
  • If the same paragraph is used in several letters, it will only need to be translated once. (if the string is an exact copy, down to capitalization, interpunctuation and spaces.
  • If anything is changed, only the affected paragraph will need to be retranslated. (And for reasonably sized strings, GlotPress is able to mark minor changes as fuzzy, highlighting what was changed in the original string.)

I don't love the long translations; but there wasn't a huge intersection between sentences in the content at the time.

Personally, I would like to change all of the rejection messages to the following format:

Plugin has been rejected text, generic for all rejections.

{SPECIFIC SINGLE PARAGRAPH REASON}

{LINK TO DETAILED HANDBOOK PAGE FOR REASON}

Plugin rejection suffix

Then have a set of 1-2 sentence paragraphs that is inserted based on the reason. The link would let the public plugins handbook have much more detailed and updated rejection reasons, and paths forward.

Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
