Dear WordPress Team,

It is not easy to attract donations to projects these days, so I was wondering is it possible for you to make the donation opportunity more visible on the free plugins’ or free themes’ pages of the wordpres.org website?

For example something like this:

The current simple link for donations on the plugins’ pages is almost invisible on the right bottom side of the page or at the bottom on mobile devices. This pushes the developers to think of many different (sometimes annoying) ways to attract the attention for donations in the plugins they support.

I think we could also add a sentence like "This plugin helps you to create your website, consider helping their developer to maintain it by donating at ...." in the Community plugin area.

IMO a text will help too but the button will be more visible and more often used. Also it might be that the text should not be strictly related to the use of plugin on a website. Someone might simply want to donate and support a plugin and its development even if it is currently not used on any of the managed website/s.

Something like: "This plugin is offered for free by a member of our community but its development and support costs time and efforts. Please consider helping for the future maintenance of the plugin by donating at ..." or similar.

This PR improves donation visibility by placing a more prominent "Donate" button next to the "Download" button on plugin pages. This aims to better support plugin developers by making the donation option more accessible to users.

@sebastienserre @dd32 @denra I've submitted a pull request to add the donation button next to the download button on the plugin page.

Would you recommend removing the existing donation widget from the bottom right, or should we keep both?

@nikunj8866, I suppose keeping both is better because they both improve the probability the developer to be supported.
